Had a client in Delaware and travelled there every week for about 6 months. Nothing notable about the state.

I've been there for work. Real pretty area. Cool giant ground squirrels. Went to a really old town established by Penn. But the people in DE were just as trashy as any southern stereotypes.

Spent some time there last summer. They have a beach and a bay with lots of boating enthusiasts. Picture a mesh of FloraBama and Propstop.

Dogfish Head is notable imo.

Ex's wife's mom and grandparents lived in Delaware (originally from Louisiana).
Spent the most miserable Thanksgivings there enjoying boiled turkey, crunchy green beans, and lumpy mashed potatoes. Luckily my mom in New Orleans fixed me a huge plate and froze it for when I returned back home. 'Twas glorious.
That said, Delaware was super pretty and quiet. I see the appeal.

I often wonder the same thing about New Hampshire.

Delaware Punch is the goat. I never get it though because I don’t want instant double diabetes.

Worked at the same company as the Blue Hens quarterback. Only person I've met from Delaware.

Parents, brother, and sister all moved there 9 years ago. Been there 4 or 5 times. If you take a 10 minute ride in any direction you'll be in another state, but it is very much a real place.
