Mine did once and was appalled at the conversations in a couple of my group texts with friends and learned her lesson. She’s not a fan of dark, gallows humor like me and my hood rat friends are.

We know each other’s pass code bc we use each other’s phones when need be. She doesn’t check mine nor do I check hers, neither of us have anything to hide. Also I don’t have to delete my browser history, we watch porn together, is that not normal

One time I got one of those spam texts with a selfie pic of a girl wearing lingerie and a message saying something along the lines of “I’m gonna be in town tomorrow and it’s been a while. We should meet for drinks again” with a winky emoji.
The text came in while I was eating with my wife and she got PISSED. Lost her shite and wouldn’t talk to me. I really thought she was ready to divorce me.
I shite you not — later a poster here got the same text and posted a screenshot of it. I immediately sent a screenshot of his thread to my wife and she finally believed me that it was a spam text. The OT saved my marriage that day

Mine did. I left my phone on the table at a restaurant several years ago. When I got back from the bathroom, I saw her texting on it. When I asked what she was doing, she proceeded to tell me that she answered a text from a female coworker for me. The text from the coworker was a legit work text. My wife’s text in response: “ so when are you going to let me get in those guts?”. I was horrified and had a shitload of explaining to do.

I had a guy work for me several years ago and he and his wife had to have the location sharing on each other’s phone. He traveled for his job. Everytime he would go out of town he would get in fights with her over places she would go.

While I have nothing to hide from my wife, I would be put off if she wanted to go through my phone behind my back. I never go through hers. At the end of the day we trust each other. If she had her doubts and told me to my face, I would be happy to show her the end of my browser history. Sure, there are some things that might require explanation, but ultimately, we would be fine. I 100% know this a two way street, and am confident that she has less weird shite to hide from me.

To be fair, my heart problems are a reason to stay married to me since she’s the beneficiary to almost a million dollars of life insurance on me
