I have some of those rat bastards living on either side of me. From the second they exit the house they won't shut the f$?k up. They both have shitty owners but I now hate that breed with a passion.

It's "wiener" not "weiner".
Wiener as in Wiener Schnitzel.
Wiener as in Wiener Schnitzel.

Mine is 8 and has had perfect health outside of a sick weekend where she wouldn't eat and was acting weird.
Again it is subjective and every breed you can read about health issues

They’re fun and sweet, but they don’t have the same appeal for me

That's cute.

Everybody who knows how to pronounce German knows that I'm right.
When you eat a wiener you are eating something that's pronounced "weener".
When you have something called a "weiner" it's pronounced like the word we use for somebody who "whines" a lot -- a "whiner".
Don't whine about not knowing how to spell "wiener".

Shes bigger than a normal dashhound. Goes to the vet twice a year and her weight was never a concern to the vet. She runs around the yard daily.

shite every dog has serious health issues now it seems.
Not ratties. They're about as healthy as a breed can get.
Not to say I don't like dachshunds. I grew up around some pretty cool ones that my aunt raised.

Neighbor has a big dachshund that runs loose. My Aussie loves to roll him (she comes at him from the side at full speed, rolling him over 2-3 x). After getting rolled a couple of times, he won't come around for a few months until he needs a reminder roll.

The greatest Wiener Schnitzel that I have ever had in my life was served to me at a little cafe/bar in Wien. I had a little wein with my meal. White, I think it was. The wein, I mean.
The lady who accompanied me on that evening had a little wiener dog that whined a lot during the meal. I can't blame the little fellow because the Wiener Schnitzel was delicious. It was made from veal, which is pronounced like "viel" in German. The Wiener Schnitzel was made from veal, not the wiener dog. The whining wiener dog was made of dog meat.
