Colombine was in '94 or '95, I believe.

'94 is when the Automatic Weapon Ban went into effect...pretty quiet in schools after that...43% drop in mass shootings with the ban in place.

Then, in '04, Dubya lifted the ban.

Guess what's happened since? And not just at schools.

Columbine was in 99.
AWB was Assault, not Automatic.
W didn't lift anything, it had a sunset clause.
You could still buy an AR15 and other rifles like it during the AWB. Possession was also legal via the grandfather clause.

As easily as you could before or after?

I'm not anti-gun. I'm against people buying military grade weapons and accessories with little or no background check.

He doesn't even know that you could still buy "automatic" weapons during the AWB.
Here are the 90s school shootings before the ban:

19941107 Wickliffe Middle (1 dead, 4 wounded) - shotgun
19920105 Lindhurst High (4 dead, 10 wounded) - shotgun and .22 rifle
1992XXXX Thomas Jefferson High (2 dead) - handgun
1991XXXX Thomas Jefferson High (1 dead, 1 wounded) - handgun
19911101 University of Iowa (5 dead, 1 wounded) - revolver

You should really do some research. The AWB only changed cosmetics and not function.

I don't doubt gun nuts knew (and know) every which way around the laws. Like you can't buy this particular model but this model from another seller has this slight modification that made it ok under the law. I get that. You're the exception and really not the kind of person I'm worried about having a gun. You're passionate, I get it.

I'm talking about folks like these douchebags "kids" who are acquiring guns and accessories legally with very little effort or knowledge. They know what they want, they go and get it. No hoops to jump through. No intimate knowledge of the law necessary. Just decide they want to kill a bunch of mofos, go online and get what they want. That's not cool, man. And I find it hard to believe things were no different under the AWB.

Not anti-gun but your ignorance on the matter along with already formed opinions makes you just as dangerous as a libtard on a mission.

Oh really?

Play the part of a deranged killer. Go on line and get everything you need to shoot up some place delivered to your door.

Then tell me how you get a semi-automatic delivered to your door.

I'd sure like to know how. It would save me 2 trips into town and $25 per gun.

If you buy a gun online it gets shipped to a local FFL dealer where they do the background check. They charge a fee to recoup their time/costs since they aren't making the sale.

I've never heard of any doing it for free.

A kid accidentally shooting a couple of people with his red rider counts as a mass shooting
