I dont know either. If I could get my entire group of friends and family to leave.. theres approx. 0 reasons to live here.. but then again may be a grass is greener situation.

Unless you are moving to a place like California, Hawaii, Alaska, Florida, or NYC then all the other states are a wash. Just very plain. Might as well stay in Louisiana and be closer to family.

Yes I conceded that using my own statistics I provided. I was arguing the 12 year cost. At that point one could consider moving to a non ISD system and drop their property tax down closer to the average.
I mean I was trying to keep the argument simple. When you start talking about overall factors in cost we have to pull in multiple things including insurance cost, sales tax, gas, etc..
However, yes to live in a Affluent Dallas suburb will cost you more.

That is a ridiculous statement, Louisiana is a certified shithole by any parameter you want to measure compared to 48 of the other 49 states.

Like in WA State, CO, CA, OR, NM, WI, UT, etc. where depending on the season, you can go out and ski, white water kayak, rock climb, day hike or backpack, enjoy expansive bike lanes and trails where people respect cyclist.
