This wasn't exactly JYD going after Koko B. Ware.

Not quite no.

There was a match in the 80's where a masked jobber tried to lead the match on Koko, and Koko completely beat the shite out of him.

so why did he take the job hosting the Oscars?

man, where do you people come from? There was no "host" last night. There were three female "hosts" and a bunch of celebrities introduce the categories and nominees

Rock was there to announce the Documentary Award, that's it.

Will thought it was funny too, then he noticed his wife was pissed so he had to do something to save his own arse for laughing.

I already said, if they revoke the trophy, it's a shoot. If they slap him on the wrist it was a work

OK...I give up. Are these new terms I'm supposed to know or something?

Ok. For you, could anything convince you it was real? If so, what? If not, then what good does having an unfalsifiable belief do you?

What difference does that even make? For someone who didn’t watch the show it has no relevance whether he was the main host or not

Shoot means real. Work means staged.

The main difference is that you didn't read what he was replying to at all.

I got the context clues, I'm just trying to figure out where this came from and why we needed new words for the ones that worked.

Kayfabe is the term used in wrestling meaning the appearance of things being real but they're really fake. These are all well established terms used in the wrestling community.

These aren't new words. It's wrestling terms.

And you most certainly wouldn't have seen the follow-up profanity-laced verbal tirade.

We didn't.

But you saw all of it. At no point in time did they cut the camera or try to censor any part of it.

Nope

This means absolutely nothing. The Oscars has all of social media talking about them after several dreadful years of ratings. How many “no one even watched the Oscars” tweets have you seen today?

And it was two blacks so they can hide behind the curtain of “it’s black business, we’re staying out of it”. It’s definitely a win for them. Although I’m sure they’d rather seeing their rating not jump from a trashy Worldstar type event

Well not everyone is gay so these aren't household words.

A ton actually. Most people are commenting on the uncensored videos they saw on twitter.
