I was super hungover on a long drive one day. It was miserable. Drove like 7 hours, and I already hate riding in a car for more than a couple of hours.

This. On an unofficial class cruise junior year of high school, I drank like 5 screwdrivers, 4 or 5 beers, and a couple of those fruity frozen cruise drinks. Hungover like a motherfricker the next day and we were doing a booze cruise the next day in Barbados on some rickety "pirate" ship. I thought I'd feel better but with the heat and rolling waves on this shitty boat, I thought I was going to die. I don't think I've ever felt that bad in my life.

Goddamn, bunch of jailbirds in this thread.
For the record, I am a retired officer not a "jailbird." I have just seen a lot of "jailbirds" wake up in holding cells and say, WTF.

Middle seat on a long flight has to be up there for the worst hangover experience. Those return trips from Vegas are a beast.

The Augusta National. There is literally nowhere to puke you can't find a bush with nobody around and usually the wait for the bathroom is a few mins. If you're throwing up you're fricked.

Airport
First time I played Edward 40 Hands I had to get on a flight 8 hours later. Huge mistake.

I've been hungover in a lot of terrible places.
Airports are bad. People rushing you around, trying to keep deadlines, dragging luggage, public transportation, etc all suck.
Actually being on a flight is worse. There is no fricking escape.
At family functions with your SO.
Work is bad for me. I hate it so much that I stopped drinking during the week and have not once been to my current job hungover. I'm probably the only lawyer in the state who can say that.

On my last Vegas trip, somebody didn't even make the plane before puking at the airport gate. There is a little space behind the gate counter (Southwest) and the windows where the deed was done. It was a big production for the clean-up crew. Thanks Ebola!

Worst places to be hungover?
One-on-One Training with a supervisor(you can't just doze off and daydream)
Church(mass)
Kids indoor events yearround
Kids outdoor events in Summer
Working a fair booth for 5 hours(usually morning after LSU Florida Game. FML).
ETA: DEFINITELY MIDDLE SEAT ON A FLIGHT!

Anywhere far from home... If you have to drive or fly a substantial amount of miles before you can get to your own bed; that's when it sucks worst.
