It’s a question I don’t think many care to ask because we have enough on our plate as is.

Who cares if we have the lead in the “cosmic play”? We have enough going on in our own “play”.

And shame on these people for attempting to make such a gloriously beautiful humanity feel insignificant.

If we are the only consciousness in the universe, either because we don’t know of another or because it truly is us alone, that lends an importance to humankind that we otherwise wouldn’t have.

Without us, nothing means anything.
