If hitting someone after he’s already knocked out, yes I jump in to prevent a simple fight from becoming death.

Done it hundreds of times. Usually with the next thing being having to put one of them in restraints by myself. Whatchu wanna know?

I would if I knew them. If it were strangers on a street, I would try to get them to stop verbally, but I would not get close to them. And by verbally, I would probably say something like "the cops are coming, you better get out of here"
