I just wonder how many who ardently say "no" to these kinds of questions were raised by a mother in a similar situation.

I'm glad my dad did ... well, stepdad but he's my dad. I was a little more than 4 when they married.

I don't see an issue due to tragic circumstances. Be caring and respectful to the child because their perfect world has been thrown upside down. Really sad situation honestly.

Not a big deal to me if she's classy and good looking. I'm in my 30s and most singles this age realize the possibility of the situation is certainly present.

quote:Com'n, now. You've seen how these boys raised by their moms turn out. A good woman wouldn't want that to happen to her child. She'd appreciate a man who was willing to take her in and help.
How does having a kid make you in a tight?

If the mother is sane, she'd keep any new guy as far away from her kid as possible. When she lets the kid close to the guy, then you know she feels serious about the relationship.
If you can't make up your mind before then if you want to keep seeing her or not, then that's on you.

Female + child =/= girl
Female + child = woman
Female + child = woman

sure...I would approach cautiously, as that is a pretty complicated situation though.
if it is someone that you really like and are compatible with, it could be a very fulfilling relationship.

As long as she didn't tell my wife

Yes. It's not that big of a deal if you aren't a little bitch.

Heck, three of the most beautiful women I've ever seen live in the BR area, and all three of them have not one but multiple kids -- one has two, and the others have three. I'd date any of them in a heartbeat.
