I am a Porsche guy; always have been since I was a kid, but …… have to admit that the mid-engine Corvette is a world class auto at a more than reasonable price for what it offers.

The guy that does 2-3 track days a year will have more fun and be a better driver at the end tracking a 718. Life comes at you fast in something that is as capable as the Z06 will be. It is like a guy going out and buying a liter bike when he hasn't mastered a 500 yet. Being honest what percentage of posters here do you actually thing own a helmet? Most guys aren't Jan Magnussen. If you do track days I am sure you have seen plenty of guys in high HP cars that blast down the straights then are holding up a Mini or a Miata in the curves.

Surprised these aren't built yet. I saw a wide body one today with the same wing in Fort Lauderdale. Burgundy and black. I thought it was the new z06. Evidently not

There’s only so much they can do with a front engine car performance wise. They had to go to mid engine to keep up.
