No one said the brother made the garrote. The theory is, he accidentally hit her-perhaps with the flashlight that had been completely wiped down (even the batteries)-and then his parents did the rest to stage it as an intruder.
I really like the Ramsey family and if they did it, I think it was a complete accident. They have my sympathy.
They did lie about a couple of key facts which is hard to explain away.

Sure, the cops made mistakes, but one question I have.
Who wrote the ransom note? If you can logically explain this,I'll listen, but you won't be able to tell me it wasn't the mother who wrote it.

The wife (no pics) was watching the special last night and I tuned in for a bit. Then I stupidly went on a Wikipedia link adventure to hell. Got both my kids and put them in bed with us. So much evil in this world.

Not really the JonBenet murder as I always thought it was a cover up but my Wikipedia journey into high profile child murders - don't do it.
