I’m also super excited that it was super bright at 6am. So excited. What a great idea DST is. Yay.

If we don’t do this then sunrise for much of winter would be 8:15 for Chicago and 8:30 for Charlotte. Seems awful. The system in place may not be perfect, but kids going to school as much as 30 minutes before daylight seems like a bad idea for a lot of reasons,

If the time was adjusted by 30 minutes between the two, Standard time and DST, and kept there, that would solve everything!

Ughh I'm not sure you or most of those posting on here are even remotely aware that daylight gets much shorter in the fall through the winter, regardless of the clock roll back. For the simpletons out there--In other words it's gonna get darker for months anyways.

Here in Chicago, come Thanksgiving, it’ll get dark around 4:00pm.

I love it for the holidays and lights.

Nor will I ever.

The whining and complaining about time change is comical. I assume you all are just old biddies only happy when you are complaining.

Stick to the poli board, nutjob. It’s not safe for you out here in the land of normies. It’s far too much rational debate and thoughtfulness. You’ll probably start melting if you don’t get back in your little bubble.

My boys go to school in town Tues and Thur, and the drive from our house is deer Frogger when it’s dark. I’m joining the ranks of those who don’t complain about falling back. Just trying to push our mornings as early as possible.
