I'm cold natured compared to a lot of folks. I keep mine on 79 most of the time and if it weren't for the old lady (no pics) I would keep it on 81 or so. If I kept it in the low 70's like I see some people do I would freeze to damn death

Are you 800 years old? On what planet is any temperature in the 70’s considered cold?

I put my sprinkler on my roof and turn it on at the hottest part of the day to keep my A/C from running all the time.

Just installed brand new efficient AC and heater, as well as all new windows with E Glass.... I'm good thanks. My bill last month was 25 bucks lower than this time last year.

Mine too unless I go out of town and I might put it up to 72. I don't want to return to a sauna and have it overwork the AC to get the temp back down.

Downvote all you want but this is the real reason:

fricking with the body clock DOES have ramifications.

Stick with the closest compromise to nature we can find and allow only reasonable relief during the day, you'll feel better when you're outside in the summer overall.

That said lol I do it only at work. Do what I want at home.

We're all hypocrites.

That's interesting, considering how last month was overall cooler than the same period last year.

Energy efficient you say?

I blame the smart meters.

Had a headache since and found 2 dead squirrels, a bird and 3 lizards dead by the smart meter

I bet the idiots that came up with that recommendation don't set their thermostat that high in the summer.
