All of Canal Street is a shite hole. Thugs and bums as far as the eye can see. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see it. If I were mayor of New Orleans, I’d invite the National Guard in to have foot patrols up and down Canal. Maybe then people would feel safe and commerce would increase.

It is, by a lot. This is still down for New Orleans. Hopefully they elect a competent sheriff and mayor but not holding out hope for that one.
