Birth Control is tricky, and not 100% reliable.
Not to mention has unintended side effects.
I’m married now but had no problem with condoms back in the day.
It gave me control of the situation.

You may want to recheck that math.
95% chance of not happening = 5% chance of happening.
5/100
1/20.
Know 20 people who frick with condoms exclusively? If you did, you’d expect one on an annual basis to conceive a child.
Thought of a different way, if you plan on exclusively using condoms with a single partner consistently for 20 years, your risk of a pregnancy approaches 100%.
You may want to re-read what I said. If two methods are 95% effective (and I just used that number), it's not overall 95% it is far closer to 100%. That was the point I was making.

It's because condoms, like so many other products, are behind a lock and key now at pharmacies and supermarkets.

I’m 66 and from working in healthcare I learned condoms make good small ice bags for your aches.
I'll stick to ziplocks and gel packs, thanks.
You actually go out and buy condoms for this or grab a handful of freebies from the bowl at the front desk?

No, I was just commenting on what a doctor did when she needed a small ice pack in the hospital.
