I want to call out the lurkers who don't post in this thread but check it frequently (and the regulars)... Who has bought what from stuff posted in this thread?
I check this thread every day but haven’t bought anything. Still might get that S&W 686 at some point but I might buy a new truck instead.

I’ve probably spent $2500 on items from this thread. I say thank you for your service, my wife would not be pleased if she knew how to open the gun safe
My wife doesn't really care about a new gun but I don't showcase them to her
The last one she saw me cleaning from the safe in the gun room, she said "is this another new gun? when did you get that one?"
I made up some BS about it being a long while ago

My wife doesn’t know/care what I have in the safe, but she’d probably be surprised at the number of firearms. And the amount of ammo in the other cabinets. I showed her the Otter Creek suppressor I just got and she kinda flinched, like it would shoot on its own.

I had a couple of them until the boating accident. Nice little rig.

I work and my wife doesn’t, so she isn’t ever going to complain about me buying guns. Her one request years ago was “just don’t buy something crazy” which is a very loose standard.

This is what I would call "crazy" but that's just me. Most everything else is fair game
With a 33 rd Glock mag for $5300

$500 shipping charge, at what point does one just add it in. Clearly half of a mortgage isn't that point. They had me until then, deal breaker
Zenith Firearms has a new series of pistol-caliber firearms. The Modern Roller Delayed System (MRDS) PDW series takes the rifle-caliber options like the ZF-56 and adapts it to 9mm and 10mm. And before you ask, yes, they take Glock mags.
quote:
There are two new models in the MRDS PDW family, the ZF-9 and ZF-10. The ZF-9 is the 9mm version, and the ZF-10 is chambered in 10mm. The 10mm is a little heavier, weighing in at 4.5 pounds compared to the 4-pound weight of the 9mm model. Both feed from Glock mags and the ZF-9 also offers a lower compatible with Scorpion magazines.
Both are fully ambidextrous with AR-style controls. The rear of the receiver features a picatinny rail for mounting an arm brace or stock. The top of the receiver and handguard are railed as well, and the handguard includes MLOK slots.
There is no word on pricing or availability timeframe as of writing, but you can sign up for email updates on the ZF-9 or ZF-10.

I'll set an empty gun case by the back door before work so she notices it. I'll bring it with me and when I come home the case is no longer empty. She assumes it was a gun I already had and has never asked why I'm packing it

Here we go....$239 for PSA dagger. That's as low as Ive seen their complete pistols
if you EVER got lucky, their frames are sometimes $40 and you might find a complete upper/slide with barrel for $170. I bet you can avoid taxes but this is still a good deal.
additionally, I own four of them and they shoot just fine for the novice shooter.
