Guy that works for me tamed one up real quick..was gonna try to do the same. Would be cool as shite I think to have a huge boar that would sit at the campfire and have a beer with me. If not, he'll just make an appearance at the next OBGT as the main course

a friend of mine did...caught the little bastard with a fish net when it was really little...he kept it in the house when it was small and it was housebroken and everything...

now weighs about 300# and is tame as hell...of course, he doesn't let it in the house anymore...

Haha. It wants to bite my face off- but I'll keep you posted on progress. This thing comes at a bad time, because Eyepooted done got me interested in quail...so as of two days ago I also have over 50 new bobwhites in my posession. Wife is loving this crap, but a man's gotta have something to do now that deer season is over.

ETA: she actually is kinda loving all the new animals...

Paging 34Venture....

He did once. He let me borrow it once to impress a girl. I brought it to my house for her to play with, then took it back to him later that night. She called me the next day to play with the pig again, but 34Venture let it drown in a mop bucket....true story.

I have actually done it twice. Shot the mom and babies cn flying out of the bush everywhere so I caught one and raised it. It was an awesome pet. Bottle feed it milk played fetch with it, you name it. The best part is when he got to be ~300 lbs we would let him roam in our yard, which he would sprint back and forth, he would let people pet him and everything. He was an awesome pet. We also raised a female the same way and then once they started mating we ate the babies

I saw a baby pig at intersection of HWY 432 and 67 North of Clinton Wednesday afternoon. I tried to catch it, but it got away. I swear it couldnt have been a few weeks old.

I have an uncle in Ponchatloula that lives on the south side East of 55. He says his neighborhood is infested with swine. Several neighbors have dispatched a few but he has yet to see any. His yard is being destroyed.

Yes, but the ending was so tragic I would rather not stir up those memories again.

Edit: nevermind seems as if y'all already know the story.

Problem with that plan is, once they grow up they divorce you and want half of everything...

My cousin caught two to fatten up and they never tamed. Once they got around 50-60 lbs they escaped from the cyclone dog pen and wrecked havoc on a not to be named Thibodaux neighborhood Those little garbage disposals were great at getting rid of fish carcasses and whatever else you threw in there.
