so 3 game wardens are all liars, and only you know better than them, what the law really is

You'd be surprised by the amount of LEO, that really have zero clue of how the laws they are paid to enforce are written. And most enforce their version of how they interpret said law.

So I'd say the 3 Wardens aren't liars. But on going professional education, of making sure you know exactly, the law should be enforced. Big timing people because you can is never cool.

anyway game wardens get away with a lot more leeway than the police do

It's pretty common for law enforcement to take advantage of folk's ignorance of their rights.

I'm pretty sure green jeans can only do a warrantless "probable cause" search on your boat or vehicle if they stop you while you're engaged in hunting/fishing activity or leaving the immediate area (boat launch, fishing pier, walking out the woods, on a WMA, etc).

They can't just show up at your house and demand to search inside without a warrant. Green jeans still has to follow the 4th amendment

There was a goofy arse guide in Thornwell that got busted for over the limit because of FB. He was always posting everything in his life on there. Opening day about 3 years ago he posted a picture of him with limits of soecklebellies. He went hunting again that afternoon and the game wardens saw his truck parked in a field—he had his guide service name plastered on the side. GW’s saw it and looked him up on FB, then just waited on them to come out the field.

Lived in Maine and can tell you for a fact there are more hunters per capita than anywhere I’ve been in the south. That’s why the wardens are more hard arse - there’s only like 200,000 thousand or so deer in Maine and the whole state hunts. If they weren’t there the heard would be gone.
