Or are they just saltwater crabs that follow the salinity upstream when the water gets low?

If you query that on the internet you will get your answer.

Are you implying this isn’t the internet?

No. Blue crabs (Callinectes sapidus) will end up in freshwater bodies (like Lake Verret) if they are connected by tributaries to saltwater estuaries

They sure are sweet inside fresh water
And no grit

He queried in Tiger Droppings. Information is dubious at best here.

Internet has everything. Even has other message boards. Why come here at all for anything.

That depends. I find if you are asking an honest question about outdoor pursuits or home maintenance the answers are decent.
If you go to the OT with questions about your marriage, you might want to get a second opinion before acting on that advice. Especially if it involves the pool board or perceived slights made 10+ years ago.
if you go the the political board there are about eight guys you just have to laugh at. I notice SFP has been picking up the slack for Hank who has been pretty quiet lately.

Thanks. That was what I thought but internet was all over the place. A lot of it was about crabs not in LA

Then why don’t you populate a different forum pal?
Posted on 6/20/24 at 10:01 pm to Sixafan
Or you could just stop asking stupid questions.

Sure took an interest in it even though you from Colorado . Must have little to do. Angry liberal?
Posted on 6/21/24 at 2:45 pm to TigerBait2008
Wasn’t a stupid question at all.

Freshwater crabs have a softer shell as well. My crew can handle a box of freshwater crabs but are burnt out halfway thru the same amount of saltwater crabs.
