Are freshwater crabs a different species than saltwater

Or are they just saltwater crabs that follow the salinity upstream when the water gets low?

No. Blue crabs (Callinectes sapidus) will end up in freshwater bodies (like Lake Verret) if they are connected by tributaries to saltwater estuaries

That depends. I find if you are asking an honest question about outdoor pursuits or home maintenance the answers are decent.

If you go to the OT with questions about your marriage, you might want to get a second opinion before acting on that advice. Especially if it involves the pool board or perceived slights made 10+ years ago.

if you go the the political board there are about eight guys you just have to laugh at. I notice SFP has been picking up the slack for Hank who has been pretty quiet lately.

Thanks. That was what I thought but internet was all over the place. A lot of it was about crabs not in LA

Freshwater crabs have a softer shell as well. My crew can handle a box of freshwater crabs but are burnt out halfway thru the same amount of saltwater crabs.
