Given that I've found simrad more user-friendly than my lowrance, and you can also get the E-Cards for Simrad just like Lowrance, not sure why one would go Lowrance over simrad. NEMA 2000 tie-in is sweet as well, think most GPS units do that these days

Simrad makes really, really good electronics. Simrad is wayyyy better than lowrance. Granted my experience with them is mostly in an offshore setting.

Came close to buying a Sportsman.

Ended up with a Nautic Star 214xts shallow bay because I found a deal I couldn't pass up which has been a great boat.

I purchased a 2014 2400 Blazer Bay in July. I compared it to the 22 Bay Boats, it's amazing the difference in size. The purchase price was in your ballpark, mid 40's.

Cannot beat the 2400 Blazer Bay, I've got 2 of them.

Beware of the Pure Bay, two guides here on GI have had to get new hulls under warranty because their hulls were breaking apart (one of them twice). They did warranty them so that's a good thing but who wants to go through that again and again.

Unless you inherit it, that's not a "value" bay boat

console a little bland. just missing a bit of curb appeal, nothing wrong with it, just a bit lacking when you're browsing maybe some boats a bit higher price point.

eta: you should totally sell and upgrade your boat.

what's your asking price?

It is a little basic but mine (like most) have the blackjack console and leaning seat. I do hate the console access and the useless livewell in the front.
