Boat ID lookup for parts

Ok I’ll try to keep it quick. So I basically won off the Chiefs game and im trying to see what I have. I put up 5k cash and an acquaintanc (not really a friend) staked his boat. He said it was worth possibly twice that. Not buying that but it does have an 04 Yamaha 115 four stroke with 340 hrs which I figure worth at least that
So anyway im trying to figure out what I have. The guy is being a little bitch and not really texting me back since the bill of sale/title transfer. It’s a 20yr old “deck boat” made by Godfrey
I’ve tried looking up parts based on the ID number on the title which is: GDYD3262H304
Wasn’t having much luck. The boat is 18ft 10 and just trying to see where to look for some random parts. Trim, lid covers, gauges, cushions, etc. Is there another number that would held me look up parts? Not trying to polish a turd but wouldn’t mind tightening it up and getting 2-3yrs out of it in the creeks around Brunswick
Tia for any suggestions. cheers

When I’m looking for parts I generally do best going to a parts website like wholesale marine and use the boat manufacturer name and model number. The ID you have would really only mean anything to the manufacturer.

Is it a "deck" boat or a pontoon boat?

It’s a fiberglass V hull boat with. 10 person capacity theoretically. That’s what a deck boat is to my understanding
I thought this would be way simpler tbh. I thought boats had VINs that basically broke down the entire boat for you.

The hull ID on the plate may help. Plate is usually on the transom

Probably going to have a hard time finding same parts for a 20 year old boat. Might call boat outfitters and see if they can send you in the right direction.

Try posting on TheHullTruth. Someone there may know more about that boat.

It would usually be a Godfrey Hurricane Sundeck (fundeck) 187 or something along those lines but I didn't have any luck looking for parts this way.

Download the catalog from https://www.donovanmarine.com/Default2.aspx
Donovan Marine in New Orleans.
You'll find many boat parts from the same era are all the same among manufacturers. They all sourced parts from the same places.
