What all should be done, besides new tires?

Trailer hasn't been used in about 4 years and us about 9 years old. Has been stored under a carport. Tires covered.

Boat is 24' .

Just plain ol axle grease or the moly stuff?

Personally, I’d rather use axle grease, and a synthetic axle grease if I could find it. Don’t forget to check the lights/signals for proper operation

I put new bearing buddies on mine this year and greased them up with aqua lube. Been working fine for me.

I've used LubriMatic LMX Industrial Strength red Grease for years now.

It's exceptional for my cargo camper. Has held up really well and we've pulled all over.

Bunks or rollers?

Check bunks for rot and if rollers, check to make sure they roll.

I'd also check the boat winch line and the winch itself.

Springs and hanger bolts. Overkill? Maybe but it only takes once breaking a spring and you’ll understand

Grease bearings take it for a spin and use a thermometer see if any are real hot and then replace if needed. I’d rock the tires and just buy a spare and keep it on hand

Do it. Most everyone around my parts has them. I had them on a previous boat trailer and currently in my drift boat trailer.

I don't know how people have boat trailers without bearing buddies.

Trailer has a spare.

I want to take it to Pensacola, so about 180mi from home.

It’ll blowout on a bridge with 3 foot of shoulder during happy hour. Don’t sweat it, it’ll be ok if you eat a few Valium

lol maybe.

But personally I just send it, esp if it’s dual axle. Keep a spare hub and tire on hand. Should be fine

If it’s been sitting that long those tires will have flat spots on them and will shite the bed 100 miles from home. Buy some tires and a new spare and have a pit box ready to work on the side of the road or parking lot.

Greased the bearings today ( bearing Buddies), changed the engine oil, and lower unit.

Heading out tomorrow for a shakedown run...

Boat is a 2015 Crevalle with less than 100 hours...
Mrs. Vette bought it w/ me before she passed...

( She had some money come in and she said, " oh hon, just go get the boat, so we can go fishing")

We caught a few nice redfish before she passed...

Great boat

Thanks for ya'lls help.
