Mercer aint alcoholic he just likes beer and a little toot of doug hardly ever drinks the hard stuff while hunting unless it's real cold or he can't hit shite which is all the time so yea you may be right about him being an alcoholic but still its his place and wheel chair man can roll his arse to another chicken tree if he dont like it. Imo

I agree. If old boy don't like the local conditions he has the option of buying his own place to hunt or finding somewhere else.

As someone being invited he can have his opinion. If he doesn't want to be out there with others that are drinking beer he can stay home. Someone invited out can't dictate how things are going to go.

He sounds like a prick.

I really want like a nod of the head for the idea, just because I don't have your skills don't mean I am a bad person.

All for it. I’d even share a beer with you in the dove field!

Just don’t park me in the ants. And I’ll be there.

Seriously. Any dove hunts available anywhere. Drinking fields only

trying to keep things civil so any of yall got experience with this or advice?

I got peppered when I was a senior in HS when hunting at my grandfather's field by an old man in the hooch. He shot at a dove about 25 ft off the ground and I still have lead beads in my right arm. I wanted to beat that old mans arse real bad after the hunt but my dad and grandfather stopped me.

So wait, he thinks he can make the rules for everyone? Or is this dove hunt just you and him? If he doesn't like how the rest of the crew operates, I'm sure he can find another place, right?

What's he offering in trade?

Make arrangements to hunt away from him this year.

P.S. I have an ex-FIL who liked to make rules around my stuff. I finally literally told him to frick off, along with his daughter.

I thought for a while this was a new topic. I was trying to figure out how I visit this board multiple times a day and didn't see this gem until after 6 pages.
