Is that JT's wedding?

So she is a Robertson? Damn, I'm actually envious about a wedding.

I hate how all of these shows are so fake. I wish they would just follow them around with cameras and see what happens, but all of these shows are so scripted that it makes it hard to watch.

Yeah the scenes are mostly all scripted, but not most of the dialouge. And some of them get a little stupid. Like Phil running and not telling them to run and then they find him walking down the road. "Hey, there's Phil."
You just have to treat it like a sitcom.
They are about to wear me out with the all the redneck talk. It's like the producers tell them to say redneck as much as possible.

Not really a duck hunter, although I've been wanting to go; but I've seen pics of friends after their hunts and none of them have the face paint on that all the Robertson's wear when they hunt. Like some of the other stuff mentioned here, is that just for tv or what? I imagine it couldn't hurt, I just wasn't used to seeing it in the duck hunt pics I've seen.

Like on the first episode when they flood the loading dock. That was so stupid that it wasn't even funny.

A&E asked them to discuss/tell them all the crazy things/ideas they have ever had. They then proceed to make shows about it.

And you can tell that it is completely staged and it ruins the whole show for me. If I'm going to watch a scripted show, I might as well watch something with good actors instead of terrible actors on reality shows.

We get it brah, you don't like it. It's your right to watch whatever you like. But this weekly thread is for those of us that DO enjoy and find humor in just how over-the-top scripted that it is. If you don't like the show, kindly stay the frick out of the thread.

Just go watch Housewives of Atlanta instead.

A lot of people I know use the facepaint and some use the mesh face masks. It helps, when you have ducks circling over and everything is camouflage, except the three white faces in the middle of the boat/blind.

I watched the show for the first time last night. Pretty funny stuff. I laughed my arse off with career day (gutting the ducks in front of the class) and them getting caught frogging at a golf course.
It might be scripted but it was still funny.

They are funny. I would like sons of guns if the head guy was at least likeable. His employees are cool just can't get past him.
