Avoyelles parish ag land was perty strong, mostly teal and spoons, too hectic to work the few big birds seen.

Looking for an outfitter in Oklahoma. My doctor went last year because of COVID crap (normally hunts Alberta) and said it was every bit as good as Canada. Said he wouldn’t recommend his outfitter because he thought the guy should be locked away in a mental institution. More than a half bubble off.

Looking to take my two boys before they have any more kids and are lost as hunting partners for the next decade.

Hunted off 71 on Saturday. Same situation, decent amount of birds but none working. All passing shots for 16, all teal but 1 spoon and 3 mergansers.

Idk how much you are looking to spend (FowlCo), but a good reasonably priced outfit is Grindstone.

Apparently, the ducks in the area are concentrated, and not in the mood to spread out. Our field has food, so hoping for better times ahead.

Hunted Richland Parish this weekend, and same problem. The numbers seen during the week leading up were very encouraging. Hunted a traditionally jam up spot, and hardly killed shite.

However, the Hwy 15 blinds apparently smashed. Brightest damn full moon ever seen didn't help anything either.

Numbers being seen are encouraging though.

Seems like everyone around us is shooting. I am hoping it's just a matter of time before they choose our fields.

Yes... Saw plenty of ducks this past weekend and that got me excited. Still had to deal with someone setting up behind me and getting rained on. Never know if someone is gonna try to run you out of a blind because it's "theirs".

North Dakota really didn't help my attitude though.

Worst opener on catahoula I have ever experienced. BUT killed a 3 man limit on Sunday and killed 15 today. 5 of the 15 were mallards.

Ran through russell sage the old ouachita part. No water at all. Don’t think I have ever seen the ditches dry like that

Haven’t been there in a few years but looks like pigs have moved in

Didn’t have any run ins with the Prairie Road Posse either
