What does a Fury prop do for you? Get an extra 3 mph top end?

Maybe. It’s what most BassCats come from the factory with. Probably the same reason I had a RoadRunner in HS and not a Pinto…. ;)

I’m heading down to get a new prop today. Hope to pull the old one when I get back and check it out tomorrow to see what kind of fatigue/stress the remaining blades are showing. Will make for an interesting wknd.

Still looking at getting a Bravo. If for nothing else, just to compare the two.
Son of a guns are not cheap, I’ll say that

Some crazy stuff racing to the fishing spot. Will one of those work on my Skeeter? It's a FXR 21 with the 250 SHO. It goes only 69. But I'm a few pounds overweight.

Right there with ya

Don’t think the Merc props and the Yammies are interchangeable due to the hubs. But in all honesty I couldn’t vouch for that.

And 69 is plenty fast. If I had it to do again I’d probably get a BC Puma and give up those few mph for a wider front deck. Eyra is kinda narrow and tippy up front and I’m not getting any younger.

At least you can chip your Yammy if need be.

Boy’s and our toys…. :)

I run a bravo XS on my bass cat. It is a better overall prop except for that last couple of miles on the top end.

Good to know

In retrospect I had forgotten about one incident about 6 months ago where the wind pushed me in on a bank as I was getting back in to load up on the trailer. Hit the prop at idle on an unseen rock near the dock I was moving away from and IIRC roughed up one blade worse than the other two. Blended it when I got home and never thought about it again until yesterday on the drive home from getting a new prop.

Expensive lesson
(insert head-banging emoji)
