People put out corn in order to congregate deer to one spot. That increases the likelihood of CWD transmission.

I don’t hate cameras. In fact, I enjoy checking them quite a bit. I have 6 and pay about $100 a month in data.

It was just more fun NOT knowing what’s out there.

It’s called hyperbole…I think you know that.

In small chance you don’t, here’s just one example that 5 minutes on Google would show you is repeated and has no effect on stopping the spread.

Regardless. Concentrated feeding increases the chances for ALL disease for natural fauna.

It needs to be outlawed. Why is it legal for deer in MS but you can’t bait ducks?

Ducks are federally regulated. Deer are only on state level. DU has ppl in Washington in there back pockets. It’s a money maker for them up north…… flood corn fields. Brings is millions of dollars a year!

Good. It’s abused too much as is. Guys dumping 100 lbs of grain feed on ground per hunt ON TOP of using feeders and pours and even food plots. Only real hunting they do is to find stand and UTV in the dark.

Don’t forget that they can literally hunt in their back yard.

If the map on the MDWFP website is accurate, it was found only 4.5 miles as a crow flies down the Wolf River from one of the most popular processors on the coast. Wonder how processors are supposed to dispose of their waste?

This is the 800lb gorilla in the room that no one is talking about. MS is the only state I am aware of that doesn’t have a tagging system in place. If I drop a deer at a processor, how could they be expected to know or care where it came from? Why wouldn’t they just dump that spine and skull in the same pile as all the others? Not saying this processor was involved, but someone carried an infected deer from the delta or north MS to the coast, and the current system has no way to deter them from transporting it whole to a processor. I killed it up the road there.
