VA Tech Study

"In some individuals, dopamine-producing neurons may be challenged by genetic factors or by previous exposure to other neurotoxins. For individuals with a genetic predisposition, exposure to permethrin may trigger chemical events in the brain that result in an increased risk for damage to the area of the brain that is selectively damaged in Parkinson's disease."

Just passing this on to others that use it.

Have to weigh the risks of Parkinson or some disease you'd get from the bugs. Ticks can destroy people's lives.

Doesn't surprise me it could be bad for your health though.

Well ain’t that grand, I haven’t had a tick on me in 5-6yrs since I started using it.
Instead of catching Lyme disease I’m gonna catch the shakes when I’m old and have to use a shotgun to shoot deer.

If you are able to pick the shotgun up

Parkinson’s affects much more than the shakes.

Very interesting - I’m curious how the mice were exposed to it (topically, ingested, etc).

I’ve told myself that it’s safe applied to the outside of my clothes and fully dried, but damn.

Get Parkinson’s, or get alpha gal.

This is why you spray your clothing, and let it dry, never directly on your skin.
