I have a couple dozen firearms to get rid of. All rifles and shotguns. Possibly one single shot hand gun. Most are average wear plus a never shot Legendary Frontiersman.
Any suggestions for how to balance effort and price? Can I get a gun show table without an FFL? What do those cost? How bad would a brick and mortar low ball me?

Hold On to them and pass them down. There will be a day this will be very much appreciated

The cash you get will go like a fart in the wind.

For sure. I’m keeping a few that actually have family significance. Most were just passed down or left at the house by distant relatives or old diseased family friends that have little to no connection to.

I think it depends on what you have. Probably not worth it to sell an old single shot H&R on gunbroker. Just ask you friends and relatives if they want to buy a gun.
A higher level gun ( Colt, Browning Sako) that’s a different story.

I would ask other family members first. My Uncle passed away a few years ago, and even though he and my Aunt had divorced, they had remained friends. She ended up selling all of his guns to someone that came in and gave her a price for the lot. There were a few he had that I would have bought from her if I knew she was getting rid of them.

The best place to sell them is you simply don't.

Keep them. Another vote for giving them away to friends and family.

with three hundred million guns in circulation, valuation on common guns will not be a whole lot. give them to family that may be interested in the heritage

I have a 1911 chambered as a 400 Corbon that I inherited that I'd like to get rid of too. It can only be sold person to person, no dealers.

Anyone interested in something unique?
