I didn't remove the plastic caps in the photo but everything came with the battery. There are 2 bolts that screw in to the holes under the positive and negative plastic caps.

No posts on the top of it? How do you connect your leads?

I have Ionics as well with the posts so the flat top threw me at first.

FYI, Ralph's Industrial Electronics can get pretty much any replacement battery (not the full case) for a really good price. I swapped 18 of them in 9 UPS units at the office for less than $35 a piece. Would have cost at least $150 a piece for new units with the same power.

you can buy the same replacement battery packs on dhgate for pennies on the dollar. Just fyi

What about shipping? That always kept me from ordering online because they are so heavy and the price ended up being more.

This twead dewivers ... tanks OP!
Helluva deal and, you're right, there are some good Li deals to be had from China.
You must be running one helluva trolling motor.

Coming from chine, shipping will be extremely slow. They won't fly the batteries or battery packs. They will come over on a cargo ship. My 36v battery took 2 months but I wasn't in a hurry for it.
For a price, they will put the battery packs inside any case that you want & put a sticker on it for you.

I have not installed it yet.
An update over time would be greatly appreciated. I suspect the same battery can be bought with a different sticker on it for 2 - 3 times more money if the sticker makes anyone feel more confident.

After that I'd probably go onto a public message board & start a thread about it & sell them for a nice profit.
Probably be a good idea to do a comparison video on youtube. Just replace the ice in it if it doesn't last as long....the idea is to get people buying them - they will convince themselves that it is a better cooler no matter what the truth is and they will convince their friends and family of the same thing.

I don't disagree but most of these batteries are coming from China and just packaged in the USA. Either buy from the source for cheap or buy from a middle man in USA that marks it up 3x. If the latter makes you feel better more power to you.

I put a 72v 150AH lithium in my golf cart with a Navitas motor/controller swap. I can do wheelies that drag the back, go about 40+mph with ease, and probably dive 40-50 miles+ if I keep the gas pedal in check. Lithiums in golf carts are fun.

This, 1000%. I get the whole "buy American" thing, but all these companies are simply buying batteries wholesale from china. If any battery company is claiming that their batteries are American made, they are really saying that they simply sourced parts from China & assembled them here.

Just make dame sure you put a circuit breaker between the battery & the bus bar.
