I always, unless something happens, in my stand before sunrise. Used to stay til l1. Now 10 is usually my limit if I'm by myself. 8:30-9 if my oldest boy is with me. He gets antsy and the batteries in his gameboy thing usually die about that time. If I get the random day off during the week and I go hunting I'll try to sit all day, make the most of it.

I would need:
Food, Drink, Book, Phone, actually see some deer, and possibly more food.

I try to hunt late except when I am tresspassing on 79's place. Then I try to leave by at least 830 so I dont get caught.

I like getting in the stand an set up 30 minutes or more before shooting hours. Doesn't alway work out that way though.

I get there between 45-30 minutes before the sky starts getting lit up in the east. I feel like if I'm there and have plenty of time to get my stuff straight and find that comfortable spot I'm good to go.

usually i'm still getting settled as light has broken already. I need to try to get out a bit earlier and get quiet. Darkness is scary though.

eta: there is so much dead leaves and shite on the ground that I cant be quiet when I walk in no matter how hard I try. I think I've got a better chance if everything is still asleep.

I'd love to spend the night in a climber where you got good moonlight and shite. Not with the intentions of shooting but just to see the night time activity.

It's a work issued phone, 6 years old and going strong. I will not carry two phones around with me, so I just cope with it. I've never had texting on a phone anyway, so I don't realy know what I'm missing.
