I own a lot of Sitka. Not because I am rich but I hunt more places than south la. When you are in Canada you don't want 8 layers of cheap shite

You Sitka boys can downvote all you want, but if you think their waterfowl pattern holds a candle to Mossy Oak Bottomland in winter flooded timber, you're smoking crack.

It's great clothing, but the waterfowl camo pattern blows.

Is Sitka worth the money? by JakeMikquote:This. The negative is the camo pattern isn't very good for waterfowl. Lol, do some research on the pattern

For 26 years I've made my living filming shite die. Not as a hobby. It's how I've fed, clothed and housed my family. Look at the Sitka Waterfowl pattern next to Mossy Oak Bottomland in flooded hardwoods and get back with me.

Do some research?

Nope, he's actually one of the most pleasant men I've ever worked around. Very patient and quiet and has a heart of gold.

They invented new materials. Like others have said it really depends on the use of the clothing. One of the materials KUIU uses is Quix Down. You can see in the linked video how different it is that regular down when in contact with moisture.

KUIU Quix Down - Youtube

Another example is their merino wool garments. They didnt invent a new material, but use a way of weaving the material to give better stretch recovery, which always seems to be an issue with traditional wool. Since the weave provides the stretch there is no synthetic fibers or elastic, so you get a 100% wool garment.

For trytoohards it is. For Louisiana hunting, no for the most part. Everyone that has it though, wants to justify it by telling you how great it is, even when it’s 65° out

First Lite Aerowool > polyester > cotton

And by a wide margin. I can sweat my arse off walking around or to the stand. Once I get stationary, I can dry off. Same can't be said for the others. Polyester dries, but man it stinks. Cotton just sucks by comparison.

not bitter, just messing with some of my buds. They’ll wear it when it’s 75 and tell me how great it is
