I'm hearing he pulled them over for a stolen vehicle and a female shot him.
Jesus that is terrible. I have a close family member in route to Shreveport now to be with the family. I didn't know Tyler personally, but my family does. I can't imagine what Dinky and Shea are going through right now as parents, much less Tyler's wife.
This one hits home.

LDWF agents do much more than wildlife violations.
15 years ago they had a higher DUI arrest per officer percent than state troopers.
LDWF officers will back up and support sheriff deputies when needed.
I dontnnownthis LDWF agent but prayers for him and his family.

Supposedly called in license info before being shot but was a switched license plate that didn't match vehicle description. If switched plate connected to perp or family should be easy to find . If plate was stolen may take longer to track down.

16 year old female - has been caught. The next 72 hours will be critical...had to remove part of the skull to prepare for swelling and reduce clotting. Has full motion in extremities and is responsive.

Scary to think that most people they come in contact with have a gun. Then some jackass decides to shoot him instead of taking his tickets and confiscation for night hunting. Hope he pulls through and they catch the piece of shite that did it,I won't be mad if they put a bullet in his sorry arse.
Poachers are just as bad as drug dealers. When you are hunting on property you don't belong on you are steeling as well as trespassing. Thieving bitches.

There was another LDWF shot I believe in russel sage not long ago. That agent I had dealt with several times in Jackson Bienville wma. Nothing big, just checking my stuff if he heard me shoot but was always nice. Also a Sterlington cop was killed not long ago.

From his Dad...
This is the info I have now. Tyler was hit with 5 times. 2 in the arm, 1 in the upper shoulder, 1 in the jaw, and the worst was 1 that hit in the left temple crossed to the right and went down. Luckily they said it did not go straight through the brain but traveled around the skull. They have removed part of the skull to prepare for swelling and removed the clotting. They said if you had to take a shot to the head this is it. He does have all of his motion and they said he can move everything on commands. They said that was very good. He even answered some questions but was still hazy on some things but overall is good. Just found out they caught the bitch. I will post later if anything changes but they say the first 72 hours will be critical.

Damn, wtf is a 16 year old doing shooting police officers?
Posted on 1/7/17 at 2:50 pm to swanny297
Damn that sucks. They had to seriously be up to no goid, or already on probation.
No reason for it. Hope he pulls through
