BASS when heavy on the online viewership for their tournaments and slacked off on the tv coverage. They kinda lost me there.

Ike is in, the field is set. Let the games began . Really excited to see this mix of top pros compete. I don’t think you could name 5/6 guys who have the panache that the top 70 in this field possess. Looking forward to hearing the schedule release . I usually travel to a few BASS events every year I’ll def make a BPT .

I've fished some opens against Trait Z. And for whatever reason I've been the boat next in line to her like 3 times. She runs a Skeeter, I run a Cat. I go to pass her and she loses her shite (she cant freakin drive).
She talks Shite about everybody on tour (I've heard it thousands of times from her at ICast, classic, bar, and other shows) She's a spoiled da

Basscats, back in the early 1990’s had a nice boat with the nice electronic panel instead of gauges. My friend bought one from Travis Boating Center with the faststrike Johnson and it ran similar to my champion. He still runs that boat today and the electronic panel still works.

Now as far as driving a boat that does 70 mph to 80 mph takes practice. If she sucks maybe instead of getting mad at people she needs to learn how to operate the boat to it’s maxium potential.

She has not paid off the gas that it took to fish those tournaments.

Damn, Scott Martin was not given an invite. Bryan Thrift was tough to understand not getting an invite. Scott not getting one makes no sense at all.

I didn't listen to the show yet, but apparently Hank Cherry was on Ike Live Tuesday night and he was pissed that he didn't get an invite. He also said he couldn't understand why Thrift and Martin didn't get invited, also Carl Jocumsen with the following he has from Australia.

If you knew the opinions that most of the anglers on tour have of him, I dont think its that surprising at all.

Plus, he has been the poster child of FLW for years. He was not leaving that to compete on a level playing ground.

I could be totally wrong but it seems like Martin isn’t shy about telling someone if he thinks they stole his spot. Have seen a couple confrontations involving him. Might have caught up to him.

Most of the anglers will do this.

Hell, Boyd Duckett, one of the main drivers of the BPT, is a very well known "bent rod" pattern chaser. Go read up on the Duckett/Langill spat a while back.

If anglers have a problem with Scott, I doubt it would be because he tries to protect spots he feels he found. And I haven't seen much written in public that Scott is a spot stealer.

This has been becoming a pattern for a while now with no respect on the water. This past weekend on Toledo Bend. I had my head buried in my electronics while idling over a deep point. Next thing I know my buddy taps me and tells me to watch out. I look up and a BFL guy rolled up and dropped his trolling motor less than 20 yards from where I had been circling. I say to him, "don't mind us" and his reply was "hey man, I am fishing a tournament and we can both fish it." I said, "good luck" and left. There wasn't shite on the point anyway.

And now people have social media reports pages. They can poach fishing spots from behind the screen.

ETA: I don’t think the pros are doing this. Just the wannabes.

Fair enough, but my impression watching was that Scott took it further than usual and acted like if he had fished somewhere at any point in the last three days then it was his. The other guy had found the spot himself from what I could tell and had fished it first, but Scott was having none of it when he tried to explain. Called him a liar, generally acted an arse. The whole thing could have been taken out of context and maybe Scott was in the right, I just know the vibe I got with no real opinion on him prior.

I’m no fan of Boyd Duckett or his disposable rods, but he’s a co-founder of MLF so he’s gonna get invited.
