I don't have FFS on my boat.

I would bet he has never used FFS much less used it to catch a fish.
You would lose that bet. I’ve used it in partners boat many times. I’ve been a marshal at Elite events more than a dozen times over last 4 years. I’ve been on numerous sacalait trips using it. I can quote future BASS Hall of Famers I’ve shared a boat with. “ A crutch for the less experienced anglers who came up looking for a short cut to success” . “It’s just too effective a tool,” it devalues true experience and earned excellence in the sport at the highest level “ . I like many of the older veterans who have tons of skins on the wall think it has no place at the pro level. It’s just not what “fishing” was meant to be. Just my opinion
Edit. I’ve been a bass nerd since the 70’s I realize my view is somewhat skewed and leans towards old school traditional fishing values. I’m not ashamed of that.

Back to the tournament talk. Justin Cooper who’s a neighbor of mine has caught 72# in first period to possibly take the lead. He’s the best I’ve ever witnessed with FFS. Lebrun chose not to use it first period is holding on by 1#. He no doubt will scope them in 2nd or he may wait till 3rd. I like the new strategies needed w this format.

Then why act so defensively to a man simply sharing his opinion?. It’s not as if it was outrageous and off the wall.

Scoping has dominated the catching in this event. 85% of the weight amassed by entire top20 has been scoping. At this time of year that’s not surprising at all. All but two have scoped in the 1rst period every day. There is a shallow bite happening in Caney creek which it appears is the only creek w grass. Should be a great weekend watching. And I suspect a traditional method fish late in the day will make the difference for the winner.

Justin Cooper from TBend leading. Texted him yesterday he’s confident if he stays in for the scope period he can win it late with chatter and trap. Hoping that’s the case.

Way off on what? I’m not anti ffs or live scope. Just took issue with the poster being an a-hole. As for pops, please take him and teach him how to use it. Too much money hanging on the front of that boat to not be used lol

That was one hell of a tournament. The last hour was great. Love this new format with FFS limited to one period.

Not much live scoping happening at the Harris Chain. Jacob Wheeler is leading and hasn't had his FFS turned on yet.
