Well the lawyer had the tournament angler who was "encroached" upon staying with him at his lake house as well as another angler. I believe both finished in Top 10. Not that these kids aren't serious sticks in their own right, but something is a little fishy here with this situation.

ETA: I hope that the other tournament anglers and "co-watchers" will come out in support of the apology and corroborate the series of events that transpired. Or maybe the angler who was getting bitched at will make his entire GoPro video available to see how it all went down

Asks people for proof...

.....turns comments off.

.....has already threatened legal action.

.....is on video saying he's someone else.

I don't know who any of these people are and that other dude in the video may be in the wrong, but this lawyer guy is lying his arse off in my opinion.

Yeah, I'm surprised that the kid with the GoPro even released this part of the video with how it makes him look. This whole "brush pile etiquette" stuff is a lot of unwritten rules and open to tons of interpretation especially during tournaments. Guess the overall consensus is everything being public until there's someone actively fishing it.

Throwback to this classic over a public "community hole"

As well as sucking off the guy he was impersonating, so he hopes no legal action is taken against himself for defamation of that guy's character. I'm going to cruise down to Lakepoint for the next few local tournaments and take some biscuits/coffee and watch the dock talk prior to take-off and comeback for weigh-in. Should be good shite.

The Alabama politician he's referring to in his apology is the Mayor of Eufaula who has come out and said he is looking to get him banned from all future tournaments on the lake or so I have heard. Mayor is also a serious stick on the lake.

Arguing with people is one thing, impersonating and slandering a local guy in a video that goes viral is a much worse move. That Ingram angler probably had more people search his name today than he has in his whole life cause of this.

But he was actually “flattering” him with the impersonating act John_V

Bad move by Lawyer threatening local anglers with litigation in his “apology”/rebuttal to the video. This won’t end well for him, especially if he’s half the a-hole that has been portrayed in the FB responses. They’ll all band together with the local Mayor and bury this guy. A lot of them have frick you money.

Not bashing on lawyer because he did help these boys out for the bullshite suspension of the fishing team at Auburn during Covid hysteria. But to say in the viral video you have know idea who the little kid is, knowing full well who he is (including putting him up at your house for the tourney) while impersonating another person and threatening/harassing them make his apology video ring hollow.

Pretty clear he’s trying to intimidate people to take down things when he is clearly liable for some despicable behavior.

Watched the apology and now get what the video was about.

Old guy wasn't even fishing but saw the kid videoing pull up within a boat's length of another kid catching fish on a pile during the tournament. Old guy starts yelling and harassing the kid that pulled up to the spot.

Only person "right" in this situation is the poor first guy catching fish on the pile solo

Well, I watched the tirade video, then watched the apology video.

In my untrained legal opinion, but very trained asshat-identfier opinion... lawyer dude is an arse. He's admitted to lying about who he is. He appears to be lying about why he was trying to run off the young Texas fisherman. So in addition to an arse, he's also a Liar.

In my opinion, the only reason he made the apology video is because he was an arse to someone with a running GoPro and got caught pretending to be a different arse. And now he's worried about legal troubles of his own.

That's not an apology. Dude deserves whatever smoke comes his way.

I never got a chance to fish with Jack Jr. yet but fished with his old man back in the day. We were all in the same club and there are not two better people, who happened to also be terrific anglers, that you will ever find.

Lawyer boy let his mouth write some checks his azz won’t be able to cash. Looking forward to being down there in a few weeks and finding out from Jack what will happen about this whole mess

Kicks our arse routinely there. Not sure if he's fishing it this weekend, but if he is, I expect another arse kicking.

Told my partner that we need to just start going upriver and fish for 12-15 lbs. We are never gonna win on the lower end offshore with all the shenanigans going on down there. Go upriver and fish by ourselves all day.

I watched all the way until he lied about his name.

“Forthcoming litigation”
“Forthcoming litigation”
“Forthcoming litigation”

frick that dude. He’s a liar….

I don’t care what happened between all of them. I don’t tournament fish and wouldn’t get in someone’s way, but if I’m fishing a spot..damned if I’m gonna move or take shite from someone else.

These guys are gonna pull up to the wrong person on the wrong day and get smoked.

Unbelievable how money or a big name makes people act this way.

Can't blame you there but if it's anything like last year the time has passed for those areas already with the early spring. Used to be areas up there where 30 lb stringers were a real possibility but I personally believe too many fish from the areas above Hatchechubee have been taken out during the big tournaments in spring year after year. Fished there last year for two days during that Cabelas Big Bass thing and nothing over 2 1/2 lbs.

All those 6,7's and 8's have gotten moved and brought down to Lakepoint year after year and never make it back up.It's a real shame too. River Bend is a shadow of it's former self.

Great place to bowfish for gar/carp if that's ones thing.

Lol I know Joe. I’m not going to go in on every poor decision he’s made but he’s quite a work of art. He claims he’s already started filing lawsuits against people in the Facebook post. He does a lot of litigation so I’m sure this stuff just makes him feel that much more God-like.

My partner loves Hatchechubee, but it's never really produced for us. Think he's just fishing history.

I have a little off-the-grid style boat. I want to put in at Columbus one weekend and see what all places I can get into up there.
