Nowhere in my first post did I imply that I wasn’t. Maybe you weren’t around the outdoor board 10 years ago or so, the thread with Green Jeans and Whop Head Dolly was a classic

I wish when he asked how it was going, you would have said, me and Whop-head Dolly,(my gun) out here passing time. Stock of gun has Whop-head Dolly carved in it.

Do these officers have any way of detecting the attractant other than visual?

Can their dogs find it?

If so, are hunters just dumping some in the woods off the trails so GJ can't find it?

There have been a few big cases about game wardens putting stealth cameras up on private property, so that isn't unheard of.

Why on earth would you admit this and take a ticket? Tell him to prove it was:

A) there in the first place; and
B) you put it there
I've watched enough of The First 48 to know a guy being that cocky probably had video of Deaux-nut pouring out that corn

Is Mo Bucks some good shite? I’m partial to buck bourbon (now sold in Walmart, tractor supply) and buck plus (made in Natchez I think). Legally utilized of course.

Should be pretty easy to beat this ticket. Just go to court and tell the judge there was no bait on the ground and you never put any out. GJ won’t be able to prove any different and it will be thrown out.

Or at least it worked for me in the past on a similar incident when the warden had no proof of wrong doing.

Green Jean in here downvoting, but I agree with you. I would make him prove it. Especially in Mississippi, where as I understand it the state has protections in place against law enforcement placing cameras on private land without a warrant, despite the SCOTUS “open fields” ruling.

Buck plus is pretty good and the deer eat it up . Never heard of the buck bourbon. My old bloodhound (rip) enjoyed Mo Bucks. I had several pictures of her standing in it chowing down.

OP has admitted to the crime already in this thread. GreenJeans can simply screen shot this. And they do. Social media has made their job much easier

Mo Bucks is just ricebran with a lot of dried molasses in it. You can make your own much cheaper. A 50lb sack of dried molasses from a feed store goes a long way.

I take 50lbs rice bran, then add dried molasses, some some stock salt, and some walmart brand tropicana punch kool-aid mix with sugar. Makes it both salty and sweet, and with an odor to attract the deer.

You have a snitch problem. He was called by someone. Also they look for crows to show them where corn is located. Mo Bucks doesnt contain corn, so again out of all the places to check he just happens to luck up on your site? Again, someone snitched on you. Another member on lease, landowner, fmr lease holder, etc. So watch your backend.

He should have been down by the creek busting poachers shooting wood ducks at 5:20PM. Green jeans should do something useful instead of worrying about a bare spot on the ground where allegedly feed was at some time in history. What in the hell is this world coming too?

As previously stated, either someone snitched on you or this game warden has a hard on for you from something in the past?..

Maybe I am naive but I just dont see a game warden randomly walking through the woods looking for bait piles?

Has anyone else been on your lease? My neighbor got busted for corn on the ground the day after he used the MS bloodhounds on Facebook to help him track a deer??

Are you and the neighbors or locals having a difference of opinions?

What about last season or turkey season? Someone could of been stewing on this all year long waiting for opening weekend

He busted an illegal feeding operation at 415. Plenty of time left to go get the wood duck poachers

They absolutely will. And I am thankful for it during turkey season. A few days after turkey season opens, all the bait hunters names get posted. There are usually a dozen or more that got caught where there’s hundreds doing it. I will snitch in a heartbeat on a baw hunting turkeys over bait
