Not sure if you specifically were talking diesels but ZF transmissions have been in ram 2500 gassers the last 4 years. No issues.

All seem to be pretty good. I have a Duramax and if I needed a new one I would get one again.
I have a B&W Companion slider hitch and it pulls whatever I need and no issues. I put air bags in it a few years ago, but I don't even ever use them. Don't ever need them with the leaf springs.
