Mathews

New grip, improved limps, press free adjustments.

Hoyt

Easier, smoother draw, increase in FPS.

I went draw a PSE Mach 30 and Lift 29.5 yesterday. Both felt great, super light. I'll be looking at a second hand one when people start getting rid of them for the newer bows.

The new tuning feature on Mathews has me intrigued. I love all my Mathews but REALLY hate the top hat system.

The Lift XD is intriguing with those speeds. I’m a 32” DL. May have to check that one out.

By the accounts I've read into on AT, the Hoyt draw cycle is noticably stiffer on the RX-9 at least.

Currenly shooting a Hoyt that is a few years old and dont need to upgrade but if I was in the market, I would be looking at the Mach 30 / Mach 33 pretty hard.

Baws are crowding 350fps.

I’ve seen dudes nerd out for weeks trying to squeeze +5fps out of an old Mountaineer or Mathews Solocam.

Yea I'm looking at the Lift 29.5 and Mach 30. They felt really similar yesterday. Just such a huge difference in price. You can get a Lift with everything for the price of a bare Mach 30 (if bought new).

I'm looking second hand between PSE buy, sell, trade and AT.

Any of you guys shot any of these yet? I stopped at Songy’s in Houma last Thursday. He put the Lift X’s out that morning and had already sold the 29.5 so I couldn’t try it out. The 27.5 Lift was interesting!

He was still waiting on the Hoyt RX9.

The Mach 30 was smooth at my draw length. I had previously pulled at the factory 28 or 29 inches.

I am currently shooting an RX8 Ultra and it is incredibly smooth. Enough so that I thought about going to 80#.

I shot the RX9 Ultra last week and it is stiffer, but very very smooth with little to no valley. It’s also a much quicker bow, 17 FPS quicker with my setup.

On the shot they feel the same, near zero vibration.

The RX9 ultra is slightly more compact than the RX8 ultra which I like. But, I seriously doubt I upgrade.

I have a Mach 30. If I was you, I’d pick up a lift or Mach 30 on archery talk used. I buy all my bows used. There is a bunch of lifts. But not a bunch of mach 30s bc it’s a good bow. People are happy with them.

I have a Mach 30 lined up. I just need to tell the dude I want it and pay for it. Buy once, cry once correct?

Guess my 40 yr. old fiberglass limbed Bear Recurve is a dinosaur. Think I paid less the $100 for it back then and it came with a dozen arrows.

I recently won a lift in a raffle. Dropped it off to get it set up, picked it up last Tuesday, the day they released the new ones. That RS caught my eye. When I went to work Wednesday, my coworker asked if I wanted to sell my lift. Cut him a little deal on it, went back to the bow shop and ordered that RS with standard limbs in shale color. Supposed to be here in February. Hopefully I like it as much as my phase 4.

I bought a lift last year and am seeing 307-309 at hunting configuration. I’m extremely happy with it. First new bow in probably 15 years.

My first thought was "They sure are proud of their bows" with those prices. Can't believe bows are costing that much now.

I agree that they are too much, but the new bows are incredible. I bought a new Hoyt last year, replacing a 10 year old Hoyt and the difference is ridiculous.

They are overpriced, but much better quality.

The Lift RS is sweet.

Went to Chag’s and they had the 29.5X to shoot. Draw length was long for me so they had a noticeable dump when drawing back. Shot really smooth though.
