Got my 45 and soft 30 in today, ordered Sunday. 45 is perfect for back of truck. I figured 65 was gona be a heavy mofo. Soft 30 is a good size. Happy with the purchase. Oh yea

My lathes aren't loose. I have to slightly pull them down to get them in. Seems like I got a good one.

Anyone had any issues with the soft chests? Got my 30 and 40 in today and tge zipper on the 30 doesn't work. Will have to send it back.

I got my 30 yesterday. The zipper is hard to open and close, but it works. It may just need to be broke in some. I am surprised how nice these are for the price. There is no reason to buy another yeti.

I just used live chat on RTIC's website. The nice lady i chatted with said the White 65 wouldn't be back in stock for 3-4 weeks. She also could not say they'd still be on sale when they were back in stock.
I also asked her which cooler size was their most popular seller. I was surprised when she said the 45qt.

Would a 45 be a decent fish box? doesn't need to carry a limit and really only keep reds up to 24".

depends on boat size but i'd say any bay boat, you'd want to keep a 65 in there.

a few inches of ice chest width just adds for a better casting platform imo.

There are install videos on Youtube of the RTIC as casting plaforms. The 45 looks tiny when they stand on it. No room to spread feet for stability.

Got a pair of 65s and soft30s in today for me and the old man. No issues with any of them. A few light very light scuffs on the lid of the 65s but that ain't shite for ice chests that will be in constant rough use.
Thanks to the OB again. Been wanting a yeti, but couldn't bring myself to spend the money... This was a great purchase! Hell, half the time I get on TD is to check and see if anyone has found a sweet deal...
