If you’re flying a drone on my property you definitely don’t have Line of Sight and I’m bringing it down like a flock of pterodactyls. If you’re LDWF, I’ll see you in court.
have at it and let us know how it works out for you.

If I ever do, y’all will never know unless I’m on the police blotter.

The government can trim trees I have growing over navigable water…you ever seen them trim a tree in “navigable” air space? Nope.
I could stretch anti drone netting at the tops of my trees and nothing LDWF could do about it…
LDWF can’t tell me a thing if I put up 10 foot tall fencing topped with concertina wire…for them to cross at that point they would need to cut/break to make entry and would need PC not just RS.
Stuff like this is never challenged by passivity. I’ll support the efforts of men like this: Are warrantless searches unconstitutional?

That’s why I suggested your best course of action is to video the drone if possible and then contact the FAA… they’ll fine him and possibly take his license.
What kind of red blooded, American male would type this out as the proper response to having your personal property violated???
geauxbrown…another cuck cog in the wheel of statism.

Someone who knows for a fact you won’t do shite.
Drop a pin of where you live and I’ll come fly my personal drone over your house.
I’ll file an FAA flight plan and then you can buy me a new drone.
LMAO!!!!!!
Like Ron said….you gonna also shoot down a crop duster that flies over your house?
You gonna shoot down a traffic helicopter over your house?
You’re so full of shite.

Dude…you need a woman and not a whirly toy.

Yep, that’s a cogent leap to go from addressing a pesky toy flying IN my woods vs a plane that can’t hover nor the mystical traffic helicopter flying over woods with no public roads.
It’s bootlickers like you who got us to such tomfoolery.

Pesk toy flying in my woods.
The pesky toy is either the LDWF or a private owner doing deer or pet recovery.
God forbid someone try and find their deer or pet.
Just keep running your cock holster. We know you won’t do shite but cry about it.

God forbid you actually comply with state laws protecting landowners. arguing with you is like arguing with a TSA agent
Governor Jeff Landry Signs Act 272 into Law Relative to Tracking Mortally Wounded Deer with Dogs
quote:
The licensed hunter or tracker may pursue a mortally wounded deer onto private property only if he has received verbal or written permission from the landowner.
But your little toy operated by Big Brother or a nincompoop like you has more rights to track on private property than an animal created by God? Cool story bro.

haven’t seen anyone operating them within line of sight.
Since there's no standard for this and most of them have a VLOS of quarter mile+, the chances of you seeing who is flying is slim.
I've flown over plenty of deer, and they typically run to the tree line, and it doesn't affect anything long term.
If they are harassing while hunting, that's another story, but if it's just flying over, I don't think any law enforcement is going to do anything.

So you’re admitting you don’t have rural property either…cool…typical Bolshevik attitude against landowners.

Not in any CWD zone so that’s not it.
Posted on 12/15/25 at 12:59 pm to RED DAWN REDUX
This isn’t being used for deer recovery. No one flies them this often for that purpose, esp at some of the hours they’re being seen. I would tend to lean more toward harassment of the deer with the intent to push them off the property. This is my concern. We haven’t reached out to the FAA but will do so although without any identification from the drone I’m doubtful they can take any action.

We have a large tract of land that our family has owned for many years. We have seen and videoed multiple occurrences of drones flying over our property this season. Game camera show deer running away more then we’ve ever noticed in the past. Haven’t been able to get any identification to attempt to identify and haven’t seen anyone operating them within line of sight. LA W&F unable to help so far. Any suggestions appreciated.
Record it on video to have a record of time and dates then file a complaint with the FAA with your video, especially if you believe they do not have visual on their drones.
These people are most likely using DJI drones like everyone else and DJI does track your flights. The FAA can find out who is flying over your property.

You don’t need to do any of that nonsense. If that clown geauxbrown knew what he was talking about, he would’ve told you this:
Flight Standards District Offices (FSDO)
Most of these drones are DJI and have Remote IDs that send signals trackable by FAA that can pinpoint location and registered user…give FAA location and date and time and there you go.
And one more thing…FAA is a Federal government agency…if you get good help from them, please post on here so we know miracles do happen.

It ought to be illegal for a drone to cross your property line for the purpose of surveillance.
Posted on 12/15/25 at 1:49 pm to Woodsmaster
Drones equipped with thermals are used to spot where the deer bed and to locate horns.
