Besides, there's something comforting about knowing that the 20 dollar igloo I misplaced, destroyed, loaned and never got back, still probably gave me 20 bucks of enjoyment before it left my possession, and it is probably still in action somewhere.

Hell, I'm almost 40 and at deer camp and duck camp we're still passing back and forth igloos and colemans with frat and college paint on them.

Do the dollar for use math and the igloo and coleman still probably win.

Here's my take, and it may not be popular. If you like a product, buy it. Screw that particular company's "official" stance politically. If I researched and boycotted every company that had an opposing view from me, I'd have to be a choosy mother fricker. The juice ain't worth the squeeze.

Look at the NRA for example, in any other circumstance, the OB would probably direct your dollars to another similar organization in terms of insurance and efficiency, yet will draw a line in the sand when Yeti doesn't support them. It's hypocrisy at its finest. Life's too short to sweat the small crap.

Yetis exclusion won't have the feds at your door demanding your guns.

Vote, be aware of actual threats to the 2nd, but buy whatever ice preserver you want.

I could give a rats arse about any of it. I like my yetis. They don’t slide around in the truck they don’t break hinges and the lid stays up when I want it to when they are empty. The other coolers flip over. That is worth the price.

My Rtics all tore up.

The yeti hopper2 is a great product too.

Exactly. If anyone feels the need to get rid of their yeti as a result of this, hit me up. I'll take that emotional baggage and quality product off their hands.

Mine too. It came off of a trailer hitch cargo carrier at 70 mph. There was a deer in it. I was on highway 25 in mississippi so there was nobody behind me. I saw the ice chest in my rearview flipping 10 ft in the air. It never came open and I just put it back on the carrier and buckled it back down.

Says the Kool-Aid drinker?

Fact is, neither of us know. What I do know is no organization is above reproach, none. Certainly not the NRA nor Yeti. This has turned into

Kinda sad, really.

Why doesn't Yeti get David Hogg to be their new spokesperson?

I'm guessing because Yeti is pro second amendment, as they have publicly stated?

I'm also not sure why I'm defending a brand that I have always thought was ridiculously overpriced.

They still can’t because they want to believe Yeti because they don’t like the NRA.

Do you man. I can’t give money that I work hard for to a company that I believe is against my core beliefs. I try my best not to.

I like Yeti stuff but I think they wanted to dump the NRA to curry favor with the PC crowd. Just my opinion.

Somewhat related -if a few gun groups emerge because of this and speak for gun owners instead of the NRA, thats probably a good thing. Whether you like it or not, the NRA is toxic publicly and probably always will be. It might be better to have a few other groups represent gun owners than just one main one.

There are several other pro-gun groups available now that people can join. I am also a member of 2 of them.

Why do you think the antis never talk about them and only focus on the NRA?

The NRA’s Eddie Eagle program has taught 30 million children about gun safety. That is just one example of activities they are involved in that don’t involve political lobbying.
