I've never been. I might go Saturday.

I'll post here where I end up going. I haven't fished since July so I'm going somewhere for sure.

I use the Windy app. I like it and can drop and name pins on on particular spots.
Nado, Thanks for the tip on the tide/buoy info.

A lot of people fish Prien when it gets cooler, most usually troll for trout. I've never fished it myself because trolling in a paddle kayak sucks.

Yep. Check the USGS gauge for Calc river and i10. When it gets salty Prien gets good. If we get a big rain you'll see it freshen up after a day it and it also comes with muddy water.

Y'all know of anywhere in laffy that does reel repair/cleaning?

I've never fished Prien, but I really enjoy Choupique Bayou. Way too much freshwater right now though.

Do trout move up into choupique?

Picked up the new yak hauler this weekend!
One large boat on the bottom (Native Titan) and two narrower boats up top. I plan to add a couple of rod storage tubes on it as well so I don't have to sweat leaving rods/reels in bed of truck while stopping for lunch, etc.

I'm down for this Saturday weather permitting.

Same, I was going to go to the P&P Garage sale but there's nothing I really need to be buying. I'm actually going to be selling on my reels(on Ebay) and buying all new ones.
Posted on 9/12/17 at 10:08 am to YOURADHERE
What do you have for sale?

I'm selling those Shimano Antares(left hand) reels I have. They retail for $600 new and I bought them on clearance at Academy for $99 each. They're not rated for saltwater though which I think is dumb for a $600 reel so I'm giving them a good cleaning and selling them. I'm going to Ebay them and probably replace them with the new Curado K models.
