When we were kids Bill Dance was like a god to us.

He fished a tournament on lake D'arbonne in N La one time and my dad took us to the weigh in.

We were all excited when Bill walked up on stage and says " They ought to drain this dang thing and plant corm in it".

I think he zeroed or close

I miss Tony Fontenot, RIP. He seemed like a really cool guy and loved to fish.

my dad and his high school buddies used to steal beer out of bob scearce's boat. apparently ol' bob kept so much beer around the place that 1-2 12 packs missing didn't get noticed.

His real name is Carl! lmao

I second this. Dudes a total douche. I've met him many times. I hate the way people bow to his feet as GI "TroutMaster" Dude fishes the same 3-4 spots 250 days out of the year. Give anyone that kind of time on the water and they'd be "masters"

Franc White The Southern Sportsman.

A 1970's and 80's North and South Carolina Staple. Came on Sunday mornings before church on PBS. It was a great no nonsense show. He always had a cooking segment too which was nice.
