Dang man, you need to stop and fill up your appreciation tank on the way home.
FTR, my Thursday trout were caught exactly 75 yds west of turners island.

I’m messing as well brother. Think the other guy jump on it like I was mad. We had a camp in PAC all my life so know the area like the back of my hand. No hard feelings here man.
Send me your email and we can talk about the spots we know.

Did well down south. Woke up late, got rained on, but the fish were there. Alos had a dog eat rat poison at the camp and get a treble hook through his nose. talk about an adventure. Dog must have 9 lives like a cat.

So jealous of seeing the LA reports......we’re headed back to Jamaica Beach this weekend and will hit West Galveston Bay. The wind has been insane and bay rough as hell. Caught a few 2 weeks ago but damned weather.

ETA: grew up fishing PAC, Cocodrie, etc. so, I know what I’m missing.

This weekend weather looks very promising. Fishing forecast is optimistic as well.

Least I’ll catch a drunk

Tons of options, most use some sort of soft sided cooler, I use a AO Cooler 36 can, it'll hold plenty of fish and keeps ice really well. Or on days where the weather is cooler or I know I won't be keeping many fish(or catching many for that point), I've been using a stringer.

I haven't had any trouble yet, though I'm sure one day I will. I don't use it often but sometimes it's nice to not have the added 20lb or so of the fish bag. Then when I want to move and cover some distance I just flip the stringer up onto the deck.

I was pissed because I had caught keeper trout in weeks and was already planning on how I was going to prepare them that evening
