I can imagine. I shot a .375 Ruger and that was all the recoil I ever needed to feel.

Shotgun: Remington 12 gauge pump, 1100? Got it when I was 7...over 50 years ago. I just clean it and kill supper with it.

Sweet 16 from my Grandfather. It's pretty cool shooting doves with the same gun he shot during the Great Depression.

A distant 2nd is my Model 700 I've been laying em down with since 1989.
