Bought a 110 back in my poor as shite days. $695 and no money down. $29 a month. Sold it 4 years later for $600, bought a 185. Thought it was a beast!

We had a 185 bored over to something. Ran like a scalded ape, until it got hot... Then you were stuck for 20 minutes or so till it cooled off.

I still have a few. Local guys have taken to making the atc 70s into little rockets by dropping 500$ pit bike motors on them.

I'm currently looking for an atc 110 or 125m with the long boat seat on it to build off of.

I really want to build one up with a piranha 160 and title it as a 50cc scooter.

Would run 65 and sip gas.

If anyone has a 125m or 110 with the long seat, let me know!

I have a little Honda 70 with a blown motor. I'd love to put a pit bike motor in mine.

The lifan 125 manual will run 45 with a 300lb guy on it.

Runs out of gear before it runs out of oomph.

It'll also make a 700 rhino it's bitch all the way through 40 lol

Still have a 1980 110 and a 1985 250sx. The sx is slowly being restored, the 110 is all original and in great shape except the fuel tank. I would post pics of em but I broke my phone this afternoon They run good and I prefer to ride the trikes over my four wheeler any day.

Man that brings back memories!
Had the 110 always wanted the big red.
Got a few scars from hitting trees too.
They were death traps but darn good fun.
Used to ride mine all over Jones Creek / amite river and where bass pro is now.

Had both of these growing up. Loved that 185S. Couldn't kill that thing.

I had prices them but my little 70 motor ran fine. Unless you are gonna put some suspension on it a 70 cc was a little small for me to play on. I was looking at Lifan and piranha options

Both great bikes! Just prone to backward flips going up hills. The 185 knocked me out with a shotgun barrel to the forehead, gun was in the front gun rack. The 200 front gun rack broke 4 ribs on my FIL.

That is an exact replica of my old 200S down to the back rack and the Wolly Boogers on the rear.

My brother and I started out on Honda 70s then he got a 110 and I went the motorcycle route. He had a 185s with front suspension. Then he got a 250sx and I got this bad boy.

I quickly found out it sucked in the mud. I would get stuck and my brother would put his in reverse and ride circles around me laughing. Found out then shaft drive was the way to go.

I had a big red when I was about 13-14...........pretty much nothing I didn't put that bike thru. Wheelies.....jumps, mud, floated in deep water.

Sumbitch would go anywhere.

This for sure. One of my brothers broke his ankle one night coon hunting, riding my 110. Dam vine caught his leg.

Every injury listed so far is operator error.

Were they really more dangerous than a motorcycle? Learn the limitations of whatever you are driving.

I remember 20/20 doing a story about how dangerous they were. They had one on a steep hillside and they barely lifted up on one of the handgrips and it flipped over sideways. I was thinking yea, do the same test with a motorcycle. It would not of even stood there in the first place. Outlawing 3 wheelers was an early sign of the pussification of America.
Can you imagine the outlawing of horses in the old west because some dumbass got thrown and broke his neck.

I bought a used ATC 90 for $400 in 1977 at 11 years old with mowing money. Thought I was the king of the earth. A few years later, traded up for a 110......rode them both all over Morehouse Parish in a simpler day. Flipped them regularly but luckily never seriously injured. No electric start meant a nightmare to pull crank on a cold morning. Loved those machines and the great times had thereon.
