both really good guys...
Sid was the voice of the Tigers before Hawthorne as well as the weather man for WAFB...

Sid was the voice of Tiger Stadium, John Ferguson was the voice of the Tigers on the Radio.

I had forgot about him being the weatherman. But will never forget Senior Puppet

I do. As a kid my uncle was a cameraman at WAFB. I can remember I got to go with him and my aunt to Buckskin Bill's house for something. His wife gave me orange juice in their kitchen and I can remember being star struck(I was like 8).

Is Buckskin Bill still with us?

And regarding Sid Crocker, I can still remember him introducing LSU BB players at the peak of the Dale Brown era. The crowd went nuts with his intro of "the Astronaut" Scales.

He was my teacher at LSU for TV Production and Broadcasting back around 80 or 81. The first day I walked in and had smoked a joint before the class. Freaked me out when I saw him standing there!
