I know a place in melville between the river and the levee where you can jump up a woodcock every 20 feet, just too thick without a dog it's just not worth it, but as many birds as you want to shoot, wonder if the high water messed it up though

Sushi, his kid and I were embarrassed by the birds today, running, flushing and flying low running again. It wasn't as much missing as it was birds not presenting shots. When birds work like this it takes a lot of bird contacts to kill good numbers…

I have a great spot where you can trespass some up. They like thick cover in the day, fly to agricultrual fields at night. They always fly after legal shooting hours, but it is hard not to get in the flyway and pop them.
